Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs and cats of every kind since I was a young girl. I worked at a veterinarian clinic that had a boarding facility for over 3 years in Illinois before moving to Florida. I did everything from feeding, walking, giving medication, nailtrims & baths, to just spending time with them during their playtimes. I have grown up with animals, our house has never been empty from the taps of nails on the floor by our 4-legged family member.

I make sure we do a meet and greet a couple days before at the dog park and they can get familiar with who I am and get to know more about them and their needs. Plus I can see how much they play to make sure we spend enough time at the dog park if we go. The day before, one more meet and greet at the home in their comfort spot to see they react to me coming into their home. One thing I like to do is a controlled entrance alone, where you leave the home and I come in like I would normally without you in there to see how they handle that. It give them the level of trust and a feel of safety before we start full-time.

The most important thing to know is if the dog has an medical conditions that need to be on the lookout for. If they cannot stay out in the heat for a long time, or try to maintain their movements due to arthritis. It is also important to know if they are not dog friendly or kid friendly so I know where to go and where not to go. If they are on a certain diet and cannot have certain treats or are picky on how they eat.
A typical day
We will go on long walks with different paths each time, I will map out a nice walk for the new smells and new things to see. We can check out different parks and enjoy time at the dog park with toys. We will go to Petsmart/Petco and pick out a toy special to them that we will play with in the backyard. I will make sure to run out their energy between each visit or walk.

Availability
I am currently a stay at home mom - the kids are in summer camp during the days so I have availability all day! Sunday through Saturday - morning, afternoon, and night. I do not mind long walks, extended play-times at the park, or just a small cuddle session to make them feel less lonely.
