Pet care experience
I have been walking dogs on Rover since March 2023. Right now I am only taking on small to medium-sized dogs. I have experience looking after family and friends' dogs for over 5 years, including hour long walks, dinner & toilet drop-ins, and overnight pet sitting. I have walked dogs such as Cocker Spaniels, Doodles, Chihuahuas, Border Terriers, Vizslas, Labradors and Portuguese Water Dogs. My family have had cats my entire life, so I am very familiar with cats and happy to look after them.

I have experience putting dogs in their crates while they are left alone. If the dogs are not left in a crate, I will be careful to check their surroundings to make sure there is nothing dangerous or edible lying around. My family's cats are allowed to roam freely in the garden, so I am used to checking the garden if the cat is not inside, but I can also assist with indoor cats.

I need to know how well your dog gets on with unfamiliar dogs and cats in the public. It is also good to know their usual schedule and preferred walking routes.
A typical day
I love to take dogs to the park to get all the best smells, although I prefer to keep the dogs on leads. I am a fast walker and can walk for hours, so your dog will get plenty of exercise. Or I can take it easy, if they just want some fresh air. I have been to many dog training and sniffer dog classes, so I can do interactive games/sniffing with treats.

Availability
I work remotely and I set my own working hours. Therefore, I am reasonably flexible with my availability. I love to break up my time from looking at the computer with dog walks or cat cuddles.
