Avid animal lover of all kinds. I have had cats and dogs (big and small) in my home my entire childhood. I raised 3 chocolate labs as an adult, training them from puppies. In the last 7 years I have been trusted by family and friends to pet sit their dogs and cats in my home anytime they need to travel out of town, giving them all of my time and attention as well as sending updates to their parents. I am able to walk, feed, bathe, train, and exercise dogs.

Samantha was great sitter. She is very friend and warm welcoming my baby, Luna. I was worried all the time when I asked a sitter Luna never met. Luna needs a little time to get along with new people. But Samantha sent me a picture of Luna as soon as she started talking care of her and Luna seemed happy. She seemed comfortable at her place. Thank you very much for taking care of Luna. I want to ask her again when I need to.

Samantha was amazing with our Rhodesian ridgeback! He’s dealt with some gut issues that we have been managing with meds, so I always get a little nervous for someone to watch him, but Samantha made it so easy and our dog found a new best friend! He was happy, she sent pictures, he enjoyed his long walks and I know she made him feel loved. Thank you so much! We will definitely book Samantha again!

I have a pet safe home close to safe grassy areas to walk dogs day and night. I provide clean water at all times and can follow specific feeding schedules. I wake up early to take pets out as soon as they wake up and provide several walks throughout the day for exercise. Pets are allowed on all furniture and in every room of the home. Cuddles are welcome and I love to play fetch as well!

I have owned very young puppies up to senior dogs who may need medication or to watch out for certain behaviors/circumstances. I am also experienced with rescue dogs who may have certain triggers to be aware of. I can also help to manage behavioral issues or anything you would like someone to know when taking care of your pet. I would love to know anything you think makes your dog unique and their likes/dislikes.
A typical day
I am a very active person and avid runner. Having experience owning big dogs who need lots of exercise and keeping them safe while jogging along side me. I am near the beach and several parks where I can take dogs who like to play fetch or near the water. I am also able to provide cuddles and attention plus shorter, more frequent walks for dogs who cannot go long distances.

Availability
I am an early riser and very active person, so waking up early to take a walk is already part of my morning routine. I travel for work for several days at a time then I am able to spend multiple days at home without having to go into an office and watch pets. I am able to give all of my focus throughout the day and night to making sure the pets I watch are taken care of to the full extent! Whether it be an active dog who needs to get plenty of exercise or an older dog who needs company and extra attention.
