I always like to set up a consultation or “meet and greet” with you and your pets. My meet and greets normally start with getting to know each other. I want to know your pets and for them to know me! Bonding prior to home visits will greatly reduce stress and anxiety for your pet when I carry out my visits. I want your pet to feel comfortable each time I visit. This will also give us time to discuss any medical conditions or special needs your pet may have. My meet and greets range from 30 minutes to an hour, depending on you and your pet's needs. Also, sometimes personalities just don’t mesh; so, it’s better to know ahead of time rather than later! Second, I want you to get to know me and that I understand your expectations. Next to your pet’s well-being, your happiness is of the utmost importance to me. I know how hard it is to leave your pets with someone else; it's never easy! A meet and greet will give us time to communicate needs, wants, and questions you may have, and hopefully put your mind at ease when leaving your pet with me. I have a large, fenced in backyard and ample room for those that get the zoomies or like to play catch. I also have pups of my own, so yours will never be lonely! My pups can be very lazy since they are older, but they do like to play. How the day's activities go though will depend heavily on your pet's age and temperament. Have a couch potato? We can lay around and cuddle. Have a pup like loves playing catch? We can do that too! Any information that you can give me about your pet and their personality will also help me create a safe and fun environment for them. I do send updates for any of my bookings as well. I will send you pictures and a brief summary of how the visit went.
