Pet care experience
My mom worked as full time pet groomer throughout my childhood. I recall being my happiest self when I could go to work with her and brush and spend time with all the dogs and cats who came in. I officially started working at the pet grooming shop at age 14. At that point I knew I was going to be a crazy dog lady!! I left the pet-care industry when I was 18 to peruse higher education, however, I would house-sit, walk, or just hangout with any and all pets whenever I had the chance. Working as a pet groomer for all those years has taught me a lot about different personalities, abilities, and liking's when it comes to pets. I like to think that I have a connection and understanding to dogs I just meet. I have also rescued 3 of my own pups (Shyla, Lola, and Lupine) and hands down have they been the best teachers I have had thus far!

Mine and others pets are my biggest priority. A living creature deserves all the comforts and spoiling in the world!! I will always make sure that their environment is safe whether it be other dogs, proper fencing in yards, secure harness and leash, and treats and water wherever we go! Again, I have my own 3 dogs, 2 which are seniors and I know what it means to take care of individual needs. Does your dog need help in or out of the car? I got it. Need an extra blanket? I got it. Nervous and having a hard time eating? I got it. Being a dog mom for the last 16 years has given me all the tips and tricks I need to keep your pups happy, healthy, and safe!

I have a soft spot for all pets regardless of size, breed, or personality. I am happy to leave my dogs with their dad if your pet prefers to be alone. I am also happy bringing along all or just one of my dogs for a fun friend or comforting companion.
A typical day
Being outside is our favorite!! Walks, hikes, runs, bikes, and swims!! We love it all! Unfortunately, the aging process has set in for 2 of my pups so we have learned some other ways to have fun that aren't too strenuous such as shorter walks or tug-o-war in the backyard. If a dog (and owner) is happy to be outside, we will play and frolic until it's dinner time! If a dog is more of a home-body or is enjoying those comfy senior days, than we have doggy puzzles, dog toys, or we can just cuddle up on the couch with a book!

Availability
I am a full time grad student who has taken the Summer off to enjoy traveling, training (running), and just enjoying some free time. My schedule is VERY open and I am able to do frequent walks or check-ins depending on you and your pets needs/wants. As I mentioned, I am a runner who is in training for some upcoming races... So, if your pet just needs to get some energy out, I can stop by to take them for a quick (or long) run! I love adding dogs to my everyday routines if possible. For example: A stroll to the coffee shop for a drink on the patio or a drive to the lake for some swimming!
