Pet care experience
I've always grown up with animals. I was born into a family with two older dogs, and grew up with 2 family dogs, Maggie & Henry, whom I love and adore as family. While Maggie has recently passed, Henry is a senior black lab living his best life. When I moved to graduate school, I adopted two cats, Plum & May. I didn't grow up with cats, but during college up to now I spend time at local animal shelters volunteering and helping to socialize cats where I have time. Currently, I spend my free time trapping, spaying/neutering, and releasing feral cats in my neighborhood to give them better, safer lives.

Sam was very easy to work with. She was very flexible and agreed to do drop in visits when she was not available to do an overnight. Another sitter had cancelled on us and my daughter was getting married. Sam saved the day for us. Cash really like Sam during the meet and greet. She sent us several pictures and you could tell that Cash was a happy dog. He is a senior and it is very important to us to get someone that he is comfortable with. We will definitely use Sam in the future.

I always like to get a detailed account of the owner's daily routine with the pet, as well as any medical or physical concerns I should be looking out for. If the client approves, I like to err on the side of reaching out if I have questions or concerns, rather than waiting until they get back. Additionally, having emergency veterinary information is a must, as I am willing to do what is necessary to keep your pet safe.

A typical day
I'm happy to play with your pets however they prefer! I enjoy playing fetch, running around the yard, going for walks in nearby parks or neighborhoods, or playing hide and go seek or chasing them/them chasing me if they enjoy it!

I am a graduate student, which does mean I am relatively busy, However, I am more than willing to try to fit pet-sitting/walking into my schedule. We can talk more about this if you want to book with me!
