Pet care experience
I have grown up with cats my entire life and have had a dog since 2012. We currently have a 6 month puppy and she is great with any and all dogs. We also have 2 cats so your pup needs to be ok with those!

Sam is an excellent pet caregiver! She's extremely kind and attentive, as well as continuously goes above and beyond to ensure the animals around her are taken care of. My husband and I were going out of town and needed someone to watch our 8 month old Corgi and knew that Sam was great with pets. She was more than happy to help us out and sent us frequent updates and cute pictures while we were gone. We provided lots of notes regarding the care of our dog, and Sam had zero trouble with our specific needs. Our dog is also a very picky eater, and after asking us if it was okay, she was very creative in getting our dog to eat by providing some healthy pumpkin topper for her dinner. She's a great choice for anyone needing a pet sitter and we will definitely be reaching out to her when we need any pet sitting in the future!
I know it can be so tough leaving your pet for the first time with someone unknown to you. But Sam will love your pet as much as her own. You can feel completely at peace knowing someone like her is taking care of your precious one(s) while you are away. She will likely send you lots of pictures to give you peace of mind as well. Perhaps even teach them some new tricks. She loves animals!!

We have a 1 story home with a fenced in backyard. This is a super safe neighborhood with great areas to walk a dog which is so nice. Dogs will have access to the yard but only when let out - no dog door.

We need to know if your pup is crate trained (this is a requirement), their temperament, and their ability to get along with dogs of varying energy/play styles. Also would need your dog to not be vicious towards cats as we have 2 in the home.
A typical day
Our dog typically goes on 2 walks at day depending on the weather. One is usually a 20 minute walk with another 45-60min walk at the end of the day either for dinner or after. We live close to a field where we take our dog to run and play fetch as well.

Availability
I work full time during the week and my husband works from home. Should he need to go to his office (this is rare) he is usually gone 4 hours max and we would use the crate for this time.
