- I was a dog owner for 10 years but currently without one - I am active, patient, clean, experienced, flexible, professional, and a really good dog snuggler. - Because I love dogs and enjoy taking care of them, I am constantly dog-sitting for friends and family, often for up to a week or more, and can provide references verifying that! - I work for a school, so my schedule is close to normal work week hours - I own a car for those necessary dog park visits - I'm new to the Portland area, so any excuse to explore a hiking trail is great to me - I have experience with pup medications "It's her dream come true. Diving into a pile of dogs."

Sam was wonderful! We have a large dog that can be a lot to handle, but he was in Sam's lap in no time. She was attentive to our feeding and other requests and got our bedding ready for wash before she left. Sam was professional, courteous, and on top of everything. Highly recommended!
Sam is a great dog/house sitter. She not only takes care of the basics (sticking to walking schedules, feeding, filling water bowls, make sure everyone poops outside!), but she also takes extra care in loving on them while I'm away. They get plenty of snuggles and play time. During the most recent stay, Sam also took the extra time to tackle my fruit fly problem, brought all my patio cushions in before the rain started, and washed sheets and towels before she left. Highly recommend her! (Just don't book her when I need her!)
I am so grateful that Sam was able to watch our dog and on such short notice. She always sent updates and I felt good knowing our pup was with her. I would definitely recommend her and look forward to working with her in the future.
Maizy loves Sam (and so do we)! Sam spent a lot of time doing Maizy's favorite activity- snuggling! Sam was very communicative with us, sending updates and photos. She clearly loves pups. We highly recommend Sam for doggie walking, care, and sitting!
