I’ve owned 2 black labs since I was 4 years old, and grew up around many many dogs. I also have work experience from a dog daycare and boarding facility, and love going on hikes back home with my fur babies. I am from Eagle River Alaska, and often get outdoors with my dogs, whether that’s just the backyard, or hiking up mountains. I am very keen about getting jobs done and take pride in what I do. Sam did a great job with our pup for some drop in visits while we were out for the morning. He took lots of pictures, communicated well and overall did a great job. We would definitely recommend Sam.
Sam watched our house and cats very well. He was prompt and courteous, keeping us informed about everything while we were away. We would recommend using his services!
Sam was amazing with our pups. We felt completely at ease leaving them with him. He sent regular updates and even helped our pups deal with their first earthquake. We definitely recommend him!

I always scan the yard to make sure gates are closed, secured, and nothing is in the yard that can hurt your furry family member. I always make sure to check water too even if it isn’t asked for, just to make sure your pet has the most comfort possible. If there are any medical concerns, I will ask about your routine that you do for them, as well as monitor them when I am there to make sure nothing is going astray. Your pets safety is my #1 priority, and I wouldn’t treat them any different then I would treat my dogs at home. As of right now, I have a bike and roomate with a car and can make a drive, but would like to try and keep it local as much as possible, but don’t hesitate to reach out!

The main things I’d like to know about your pet are: What is their temperament like? (How they react to humans, dogs, or other things throughout the day and overall in other words, what is their personality like?) What is your schedule like when you’re home with them? (How often you take them on walks, how often we need to go outside etc) Lastly, is there a medical history or any injuries, infections, or hotspots I need to watch for or apply medication to?
A typical day
I love hiking and seeing new things here in Eagle River Valley (My hometown, in Alaska). I usually take my pups up Mt. Baldy, or out to Barbra Falls. I also love playing fetch in the backyard or just being around my dogs in general. I am no stranger to frequent belly rubs and ear scratches along with the occasional treat or two:) I take pride in caring for your animals and house and will see that I maintain a level of work ethic that is unmatched and care that will leave your furry friend happy and healthy!
