You should choose me because I get it, your dog is your best friend, as is mine. My dog Gatsby loves to meet new friends, especially when we are running on the trail. If your dog comes to my house (and is in well enough shape) we might go on a trail run, but definitely a long walk/hike. I love to take my dog everywhere I can, and keep him physically active. I want to be a dog sitter because I love dogs, it's as simple as that. My whole life we've had dogs. I don't have a single memory without one. My mother used to joke that she ran a zoo from all the animals my sister and I would take in. We've had everything from snakes, to shrews, bunnies and kittens to dogs. (And often all these at once). My husband and I would love to own our own farm someday, and hopefully have many different types of animals as well. My dog Gatsby saved me as much as I saved him. He is the best, most kind an gentle dog. He is obsessed with tennis balls and running. He is extremely active and loves nothing more than putting his pack on and going backpacking.
