Pet care experience
You won’t find anyone that loves and cares for dogs as much as I do! I have been using Rover and walking dogs since August 2021. I have experience training a German Shepherd from 10 weeks old, time spent with a professional dog trainer, and have had friends bring me on to train their dogs. I grew up surrounded by animals in the home and farm animals too. I love establishing connections with all animals! I can handle any size dog, as can my 7lbs Chihuahua, Freya :) I am currently available to do drop-ins or take your pet for walks. I have a vehicle, and am hoping to stay in the Langford/Colwood area. I would also be happy to drive your pup anywhere close granted they are well-behaved and car-trained.

Sam was incredible and so sweet walking our Shepard x Riley. Our dog is a rescue, with nervous tendencies at times, and can pull hard on walks when she’s excited. Sam proved she could handle all of that with no problem, and our pup came back tired and so happy. We definitely will be booking again with Sam, thank you so much for your genuine care for other people’s dogs!
I don’t trust my Aussie with many people, but Sam is amazing and took great care of him all day! I highly recommend her 😊

I usually have some treats on hand at all times, so please let me know if there’s any specific ingredients your baby shouldn’t eat. I can also work with listening or temperament issues, just let me know what specifically you would like to see improvement with :)
A typical day
As you may know, dogs communicate very clearly when we know how to listen. I love learning about each dogs personality and what they need throughout the day! I’m happy to run around in the mud with them, go for walks/runs, play fetch, or even just sit and chill.

Availability
Looking after your pups is my side-gig to my full-time job i with the community! I generally work weekdays, so I have weekends open for walks and drop-ins.
