Animals have been a huge part of my life since the beginning. Growing up, there were always dogs, and cats in my household, and I can’t imagine that ever changing. It’s a part of me now, they're an energy I want in my home. At the age of five I started to ride horses, which was when my passion for taking care of animals — not just being around them — manifested. I'm a writer whose education has been a bit unorthodox. For most of my high school career I was in an online program. This allowed me the time to work at a horse farm mostly everyday where I interacted, cared for, and learned how to work with both horses and, oddly enough, a lot of dogs ...
