I’ve watched over neighborhood dogs since I was in middles school and have pet sit for friends and past roommates many times! I grew up with several different breeds of dogs (chows, labs, akitas, border collies, australian shepherds, and blue healers), and I’ve leash and crate trained our family border collie and australian shepherd with my mom. I am the person who will walk straight up to a dog and their owner at any party and ignore everyone else while getting permission to pet and play with their dog.

We had a wonderful first experience with Sam and will continue to connect with her for future needs! She was so good with our two dogs and cued into their personalities so quickly. They fell in love with her immediately and felt comfortable with her walking, petting, and playing with them right away! She has the perfect commanding and yet gentle presence. So thankful we found her on Rover!
Sam is a wonderful and attentive dog walker! She walked my family’s older lab, Duke, for us last year. Duke had some health issues and bad hips, so he walked a little bit slower than other dogs. Sam was so patient with Duke! She played with him a little bit as well, which he loved. I highly recommend Sam as a dog walker. She is responsible and caring, and you should definitely book her if you want your dog to have an enjoyable walk!
Sam is absolutely the most passionate dog person I’ve ever met. She’s never met a dog she didn’t love or a dog who didn’t love her. When is comes to dogs, she’s knowledgeable, responsible, energetic and able to make a quick connection to any dog she encounters. She’s one of those few people I could leave a dog with and not worry one bit about the care and safety of the little guy.

I love to play with dogs and make sure they get plenty of exercise. I’m an expert at fetch and tug-of-war and will walk at your dog’s pace to keep them comfortable!
