Pet care experience
Last Summer I traveled the country with a family in order to watch their dogs while they enjoyed their vacation. I watched three dogs for two months. During this time I trained them, played with them, and gave them a lot of affection, as well as making sure they were properly fed and had enough exercise. I have also on separate occasions taken care of shelter dogs with behavioral and medical ailments for weeks at a time as well as overnight. The most recent dog I watched was a former shelter dog with epilepsy and liked to bite people and other dogs, however with my history in training dogs we got along wonderfully and was able to take him for walks without incident. With my varied experience and love of dogs I am confident that I will be able to take care of and meet all of your dog's needs.

Bianca had a wonderful stay with Sam! We didn't get to meet Sam (due to my own busy schedule) before leaving Bianca with her which wasn't ideal...but I'm so glad we risked it because Sam is wonderful dog sitter. Both Bianca and I felt at ease with her right away. Bianca is a rescue chihuahua and has a fair amount of anxiety. Sam did not hesitate to take her on, was very intuitive about Bianca's needs and was able to stay with Bianca almost 24-7 which is exactly what puts Bianca at ease. Sam even had the wonderful idea to give Bianca a hot water bottle to curl up with in her bed which she must have absolutely loved. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Sam (other than hoping that she isn't already booked next time we leave time :) -- she is very kind and smart and seems to truly understand dogs. This was our first time using Rover and we were so thrilled! Sam was very responsive to messages and took such great care of our terrier, Loki. We will absolutely use Sam again and can't recommend her enough!

Sam took great care of our two little guys (a Brussels Griffon and Brussels-Griffon/Pug mix) while we were away for a long weekend.
