I've been looking for a way to help those who need a hand with their pets and also get some much needed animal quality time since my husband is tragically allergic to all furry friends! I'm no stranger to the dirty jobs we sometimes need to do for our pets. Giving pills, wiping paws and butts, removing forbidden items from mouths. I've cared for dogs who are so chill they just walk me and we have a lovely time. Loose, long leash, stopping to smell the roses. I've cared for rescue dogs who needed to get to know me a little before they opened up, shy and cautious, so we start with a meeting with treats, maybe they need me to not notice them all together for a while, and go from there. I've cared for dogs that run and jump and are so excited to see a new friend so we sprint across soccer fields and get that energy out! I try to read and learn as much as I can about dog walking and training, just so I know how to meet a dogs needs and match their energy. If you tell me your dogs likes x,y,z and doesn't like a,b,c...well then that's the way it goes! I can be firm and strong if you need me to exercise some discipline. I can be the fun aunt that let's your dog explore. I do tend to be more cautious overall. preferring a shortish leash and have the pup close by unless instructed otherwise. Because I've never owned my own dog, I'm a blank slate and what you say goes, and I'm sure we can workout something that makes you, your pup, and me, very happy!
