Pet care experience
I grew up with three German Shepherds, a Border Collie, a Golden Retriever, three cats and chickens. I currently own a 5 year old American Akita. My mom was a single parent so I was left in charge of taking care of the various animals for much of the time. I have always connected well with animals, large or small and have taken care of friends and neighbors pets throughout my life. I have managed the care from watching dogs grow up as puppies to their old age as seniors.

I have known Sam since he was a child. He has always had pets in his life including dogs, cats and chickens. He seems to have an intuitive understanding with animals. I believe they find his calm, caring demeanor comforting. You can tell a lot about a person from their own animals. Sam is proud to share his space with an Akita named Boomer. He takes excellent care of him. Boomer is a big dog and looks a little intimidating, but he has taken his cues from Sam and once you know him, he is a big softie. I would happily leave my pets in Sam's competent and talented care.
Sam is a caring and trustworthy person. He keeps pets' best interest in mind and has a great understanding of all types of animal care. We have trusted him for years to take care of our animals without fail and continue to have him as our primary caretaker for our cats and dogs. 10/10 would recommend.
Sam is a gentle kind guy who loves all animals! He is nice and sweet and always care for animals when he’s watching them day or night.

I split time between taking care of my parent's house in Normandy Park/Burien which has a large fully fenced yard in a beautiful and safe neighborhood. My main home is a Mother-in-law (fully separate downstairs) which also has a fully fenced yard and is across the street from the beach in Fauntleroy and a 10 minute walk from Lincoln Park.

A typical day
I typically ask the care owner which their dogs prefer. I enjoy walks around various parks. I grew up near the water so I am a huge beach goer. Whichever your dogs feels most comfortable with I can accommodate.

I am currently not working, so am available at all times, weekdays through weekends. Timing of the day does not affect me, I am available early in the morning, as well as late at night.
