I currently am a lead Kennel Technician at a dog boarding/daycare facility. I spend most of my days taking care and playing with our sweet doggos. I also have recently graduated at a Community College to receive my certificate in Veterinary Assisting. I have done an internship at the Arizona Humane Society working in their Trauma Hospital and Shelter Surgery area. I volunteered with the Humane Society for 2-3 years, giving cats and dogs the enrichment, care, and love they need! I would take out many different personalities of dogs for walks, this included some dogs who were disabled, some who were highly energetic or aroused, and some who were very alert/aware of their surroundings. I would also have some “in-kennel time” with the dogs at the shelter, I’d sit with them and read them a short story from a book or even a poem! And with the cats, I would give them “out-of-kennel time” and socialize with them... this mainly just included lots of pets and head scratches! I love and enjoy being around animals and will do my best to take great care of them!
