Pet care experience

My family has always had a lot of pets of pretty much any kind. Growing up, we fostered dozens of pups and kittens. We've also taken care of rats, rabbits, lizards, chickens, a couple squirrels, and the occasional abandoned baby bird of course. We've also been dog-sitting for around the past decade. I'm a big cat guy but I absolutely love dogs too. So I've been surrounded by animals of all types for my entire life and am very comfortable with them. I'm in charge of feeding and giving medication to the pets whenever my own family goes on vacation and I have also done some drop-ins and pick-ups here and there for neighbors. In addition to this, I love and respect animals very much and am looking forward to meeting you and your furry friend. :D

Information Sam G. would like to know about your pet

Of course your pets basic info like name, age, sex, any health issues, or past injuries are important, but its also helpful to know about any habits or quirks your pet might have. For example, if they don't like being touched somewhere, if they have a spot they particularly enjoy being pet, which words they respond to so I know how best to give positive and negative reinforcement, or maybe they're afraid of people with hats on. Please feel free to share anything that you think might help me take better care of your dog or cat. That being said, some pets aren't as complicated to take care of so no pressure if you can't come up with instructions this specific. But one important detail is if your pet is aggressive and what triggers their aggression. For example: food, toys, vacuums, being territorial (over their cage/favorite chair/bed) etc. This is probably the most important one to ensure everyone including the animals, are safe.

A typical day

I'm up to do whatever to keep your cat or dog occupied. Whether it's going for a walk, showing affection, throwing a ball, playing tug of war, or whatever, I'd be happy to spend time keeping your pet entertained. Also, of course let me know if you'd rather have me just focus on basics of whatever job I'm there to do and leave the cat/dog alone.
