Pet care experience
* I look forward to working as a team to provide great and loving care for the individual needs of each of your animal(s)! * Animal + Puppy CPR/FIRST AID Certified (Updated March 2022) * Committed to providing clients peace of mind, my goal is calm and loving companionship. I know how much people love their pets- I only have 1 pet frog in my household, but I think I love him as much as I would love a human child. When I was going on vacation and in need of a pet sitter myself, I had thoughts such as: “what if the house isn’t calm or too loud?” Or “What if he doesn’t like it?” Though a frog and a dog are not the same, to a certain extent, I understand the fear of leaving your furry friend with someone new. With that in mind, I use a positive (and very cuddly) approach in my care to give my pet parents a more guilt-free avenue to making sure your pet gets the daily loving companionship they need. I love everything: from making homemade dog treats, to visiting the local park down the road for some trail walks. * WALKS: Important to note- In order to maintain high levels of pet safety and comfort, my policy does not allow visiting any type of dog park(s).

Sam was great to talk to and responded quickly. However, on the day of the scheduled walk, she didn’t show up and I was unable to get in touch with her.
Sam went above and beyond taking care of my sweet dog Nyx. Good communication and picture updates. She’s awesome!
Sam definitely knows how to keep dog walks from getting too routine and boring! She took my young Springer Spaniel on a series of adventures from trail hikes to swimming to an outing with her friends. Cooper watched the front gate eagerly for Sam's arrival each afternoon and greeter her with enthusiastic yelping and lots of dog slobber. She was a huge help in keeping Cooper bouncily engaged and in using up his energy so he could be calm while we were staying with my mom. Sam is a loving and responsible dog walker. She is terrific about communication and was a real partner in keeping Cooper happy and healthy and tired enough to be well-behaved in a strange setting. I will definitely be contacting Sam for more adventures anytime we return to the Upper Valley!
Hello, Sam has taken care of my shorkie Lulu for the past couple of Summers here in Arizona while I was away visiting family and she has done a superb job! She took Lulu on daily walks and always sent me cute pics and videos to let me know what they were up to while I was away. I trust Sam as a sitter and Lulu has really loved having her as a buddy when I had to be away.

I have a clean, smoke-free home. Home is also free of other cats, dogs, and pets (Besides my pet frog). I am animal cpr/first aid certified and treat furry clients with the same philosophy I used when I was a long term nanny for many years: which is, if you as the pet parent(s) can’t be home, then you darn well sure want to feel you are leaving your pet with someone who will give just as great of care as you would if you were there. No one loves your pet like you do, and no one gives the care like you do either! But my goal is to be a very close second to “mom and/or dad” for your pet.

Vet contact Information please! How do you put your dog to bed at night? What’s their poo schedule? Can your dog have treats? And finally, What is your dog’s usual daily routine? Thanks!
A typical day
Below is a general past ex. of a daily typical schedule: - Greet pet (Wake up around 7:00-7:30 am) - Outside potty break - clean + change water - short play session - If needed: Administer any medications (I typically wrap in a piece of sliced cheese) - Meal Time. If given owner permission, I usually cook homemade eggs or oatmeal for dogs (dogs in past have LOVED my scrambled eggs!) Otherwise no problem, I use the food you provided. - Outside potty break - 1 on 1 play time (After this is when I start my school day around 10-11 am) - School and short play spurts from 11 AM-4 PM. I’ve found that dogs will usually nap for most of my class. We take a walk around the neighborhood during lunch hour. We do potty breaks every 1-2 hours. - Wrap up work at 4:30. Have attention time indoors (ex: brushing, DOGA: Dog yoga) - Make homemade treats (In past, my organic peanut butter and pumpkin treats have been a huge hit with dogs) - Early evening walk ☀️ - Dinner (Also offer to cook lean broiled chicken or turkey-no bones, white rice, broccoli for your pet. As a guideline for nutritional balance I follow veterinary medical research which supports and advises that for a balanced dog diet, people food does not substitute for more than 25% of a dogs diet) - Play - Nightime Walk - Relax. Text owner pictures or videos, message the day’s care report - Potty and treats time - Bedtime (around 10-11pm)

I’m a work from home graduate student currently finishing up my masters degree at Dartmouth. My house is too quiet during the day, so I truly would and do enjoy having a fur friend to hang out with and go on walks with. I have an open and accommodating schedule and provide for my 4 legged guests a calm home environment..but don’t let that fool you as energentic or playful vibes are always welcome and encouraged!
