Pet care experience
Have cared for and loved dogs for my entire life through all stages of their lives. Have dealt with everything from a crazy golden retriever puppy with anxiety to a middle aged Irish setter with severe epilepsy. Ultimately, I’m a responsible and caring guy who is unable to have pets in my current living situation but still wants to hang out with and care for dogs of all forms. I’m a big fan of all breeds, but I have a special spot I my heart for golden retrievers, Irish setters, and mutts of all kinds as I grew up around all three of those breeds. Very communicative and easy to reach so that you’ll be able to see how your pet is doing from wherever you are!

Sam did a great job house sitting our pup Biko. He sent pictures of them on walks and hanging out every day, communicated about what they were up to, and brought our packages inside. We will book him again!
As a close friend of Sam's for years, I can confidently say that Sam is one of the kindest people I know. He has helped me in many ways - one being a better dog sitter. When I dog sit for other families through Rover, Sam is always excited to come over to help out. Sam is always sure to give positive reinforcement to dogs of any age for going potty outside, as well as listening to commands such as sit or stay. Due to the fact that he cannot have dogs at his own home, Sam has found that caring for dogs is a crucial part of his own self care. Sam is a critical thinker by day with a soft heart that can accomplish any task and bond with any person or animal alike. I highly recommend Sam for any Rover task.

A typical day
Love being active and am happy to take long walks, play frisbee at the park, or even go hiking (assuming the dog is healthy enough and leash trained). Cheesman park, city park, and wash park are all favorites of mine, especially in the spring.
