I have about 15 years (3 on Rover) experience caring for family pets, neighbors pets, as well as some freelance pet care. I'm great with dogs and cats. I have some experience with training, teaching basic commands, and tricks. I am a positive, caring, thoughtful, empathetic, and patient person, who just loves animals, and would love to help you take care of yours :)

Sam did a great job watching our lab. She was well taken care of the week she was with Sam.
Sam seems very comfortable and welcoming to all breeds of dogs. Luna did well meeting new friends in his care. Appreciated the pictures sent to let me know she was doing okay. Did not receive any feedback from Sam to indicate there were any problems. Location for drop-off and pick-up is convenient to my residence. I would definitely use Sam again.
Sam was very flexible to watch our pup for daycare last minute! She came home tired and happy :)
Sam is responsive and responsible. My dog seemed to have enjoyed his time with him!

I live with my partner in SE Portland. we have a very small fenced in backyard in a nice quiet neighborhood off Woodstock. I go on daily walks throughout my neighborhood and se Portland, which are always better with a furry little companion or two or three! There are lots of parks and new places to explore nearby, even a couple fenced in dog parks. I have weekly regulars who are very friendly and love to play, but otherwise no dogs of my own at the moment. We do have a cat, but he is very tolerant of the dogs, and mostly keeps to himself in the second bedroom where the dogs aren't allowed. I am committed to making sure your pet feels happy, comfortable, and safe around me, my other clients, and my home :)
