Hi, my name is Sam and I would love to take care of your cat or dog (or other pets) while you are away :) Regarding Covid-19, you and your pet's health and safety are my top priority. I am fully vaccinated. I will notify you immediately if I have any covid-19 symptoms, and I will be tested asap and tell you the results of my test. Will always wear a mask and other PPE at your request. Your pet will be safe and happy under my care; I have years of experience walking and pet-sitting dogs as well as cats (I actually have walked cats lol - but that's another story). I have dog-walked, dog-sat, and cat-sat for about a dozen folks in my former home of Chicago with great results - every one of my clients have come home to a happy and healthy animal. Have a snake, turtle, bird or mice? I grew up with, and have recent experience petsitting for, slightly more unique pets, from rabbits to bearded dragons. I have also fostered for cat shelyers multiple times and through them handled vet visits as well as medical emergencies. I'm calm in a crisis and vigilant when it comes to any warning signs that your pet might be under the weather. Rain or snow, I'll be there for your pet and for anything else you may need help with, whether it's watering your plants or just keeping an eye on your home while you're away. I have depended on Rover for cat-sitting when I am on vacation and I know there's no greater feeling than trusting the person taking care of your pet. I will send you updates as often as you want, including pictures! I know what someone wants from a pet-sitter while they're away, because I have been in your shoes. You can trust me to treat your pet like my own. Services I offer: - Pet-sitting (dogs and/or cats of any size or age) Services I do not regularly offer: - House-sitting - I can stay overnight at your house once or twice a week, but no more than that - Cat-boarding. I used to offer this service but since then the amount of animals in my home has grown. Sam is phenomenal!! She took awesome care of our two cats for nearly a week, feeding them twice a day, cleaning their litter boxes and giving them lots of love and attention. Sam sent us photos during her check-ins which we absolutely loved looking at while we were away. We also really appreciated her going above and beyond to bring in packages for us as well. We will definitely be reaching out to Sam for all of our cat-sitting needs in the future!!

Sam was great! One of our cat was extremely timid and shy, but somehow Sam managed to befriend her from the very first visit! She helped with cat litter tray, feeding them, and everything else. Would definitely invite her back again.

A typical day
We'll play, go for long walks, hang out at home, and sneak them a few treats so I leave a good impression haha. With low energy pets I love to stay over and just read and give them the attention/cuddles they need.
