My name is Salma and I’ve been dog and pet sitting since I was 15. I’ve traditionally cared for high-energy dogs such as labradors, ridgebacks, and pit bulls. Typically, I have house sat and cared for pets while families are away on vacation. I’m comfortable taking care of animals and also ensuring that your home is maintained and secured while you’re away. I’m a biologist by trade and have worked with animal welfare and conservation organizations. I’ve cared for marine mammals, reptiles, and other non-traditional animals. And so I’m doubly qualified to care for your pet. I’m experienced and comfortable administering medications, caring for wounds, and descalating stressful situations. I am a grad student on summer break and so my schedule is currently very flexible.
