We needed a dog-sitter on a very short notice for our 4 month old puppy. We were able to book Sallye to house and dog sit for the 4 and a half days we were gone. During our meet and greet, she seemed really flexible. When we returned, there were signs that he was left alone far longer than he should have been (he even started pooping in his kennel which he had never done), and that she failed to communicate any issues/concerns that came up. She also failed to communicate regarding changing her price. However, his basic needs (food and water) were met, and our house was left intact. She's probably fine with low maintenance pets, but definitely not a puppy.

I'm sorry to say that I'm not very happy with Sallye's services. Our dogs and cats are safe and I'm very happy about that. However, we were clear during our meet and greet we wanted someone to stay here overnight all three nights and she agreed since it was only a few nights. It's unclear what nights she stayed and she confirmed she didn't stay the second night due to the dogs keeping her awake. If she had advised us she wouldn't stay we would have chose another sitter as this was very important to us to have someone here with them. Detailed instructions were not followed so it makes it appear our pets didn't receive the care and attention we expected. We left toys she was supposed to give the dogs on the 1st day she came, as well as the cats, then the cats a toy each day. The toys were left untouched in the bag on the table at the same location as our instructions were. We advised what treats to give our dogs (blue buffalo soft treats and carrots). She gave hard old treats which I advised my one dog could choke on. When we returned home the house smelled like someone had an accident in the house which never happens unless the dogs are left too long without going outside. We were not informed anyone had an accident. We had asked that the carport light be turned on each night and it was not at least 1 night nor the night we came home. She was asked to bring in the mail which she did but mail was still in the box late Sunday night when we arrived home.
