Sally T. is a long time friend of mine; 30 plus years. She has owned dogs for as long as I have known her. She and her family visited us on our farm about some 10 years ago, when we had an assortment of animals, including turkeys that we were raising. She walked over to a white turkey hen that we had and slowly put her arms around the turkeys body while talking softly to her. I had never seen anyone do that before. The turkey was very calm and seemed to enjoy the attention by the sounds she was making. That is an example of how gentile and caring Sally T. is with all animals. She is very attentive to the mood and habits of the pets in her care and others that she may be visiting.
