Pet care experience
In addition to having my own family dog and 2 cats, I have plenty of professional pet care experience. I house sit for many of my neighbors, many with both cats and dogs. I have experience overnight house sitting for an older dog with health issues (special harness to walk, careful not to let him go up and down stairs, etc), daily check-ins and feedings with cats, regular dog walking, etc. Over the summer, my girlfriend and I cared for a dog for 2 months while her owners settled into a new apartment.

Sally was super dogsitting our very anxious big (sweet) dog. He has a hard time with new people but she clearly knew how to let him warm up to her. She communicated quickly and clearly. Our house was exactly as we left it. Thank you, Sally!

I've known Sally for a few years and not only is she a kind, caring, responsible, and wonderful person, but she loves animals! She has two cats and a dog whom she loves very much and provides them with so much love and care. I was lucky enough to foster a dog with her this past summer and she showed that pup nothing but love and cuddles during her stay. Sally will make an amazing walker/sitter for your pet :)

I give pets plenty of attention and make sure that dogs are exercised and taken out to potty frequently.

I'd like to know if the dog has any specific needs that must be met, or any behaviors that I might not expect. I'd also like to know if the dog is reactive, how the dog is with other dogs or people, if the dog does well off-leash, if they are ok in the car.
A typical day
If the dog is ok interacting with other dogs, I love going to Amethyst Brook. There's also a beautiful farm walk right by my apartment that I really enjoy, especially with dogs that prefer not to interact with other dogs.

I'm a student at UMass Amherst, so my availability is a little funky. I'm free all day Friday through the weekend for walking or sitting. I also have time Tuesday and Thursday after 12pm.
