Pet care experience
Born with Stormy the spaniel & Jane the tabby, I participated in the love and care of Lance the setter, Tippy the happy boy and Snickelfritz and Tidy the calico kitties. My pets were my favorite toys! In adulthood I adopted rescue puppy Kino and blue-eyed kitten Shasta, elegant Jazz-girl, and some other great pets. Now I have Tigra Carmela, my wild-child calico who came skinny and scared from the woods and now loves her tummy rubbed. Family & friends going on vacations give me plenty of hands-on house and pet caretaking experience.

Sally was a thorough communicator and took great care of our cats and home.
This was our second time booking Sally to care for our one year old corgi and six hens. We were at ease our entire vacation because we knew how well they were all being cared for. Sally took our corgi on daily, multiple walks. Sally took excellent care of the hens and kept their coop nice and clean. All of our animals were well cared for, safe and attended to. We will be booking again and we so appreciate her!
Sally approaches her sitting in a thoughtful, caring, and conscientious way. Our walk through ended up being cancelled, and she was flexible about meeting our sweet older cat and getting to know our place in real time. She gave Moo space to get to know her, and build her trust, until eventually they were cuddling together. Sally offered frequent updates and photos, watered plants, and our home was in excellent shape when we returned. We highly recommend her.
This was Our first time using Sally to babysit or two fur babies. She was awesome. My dogs warmed up to her very quickly, and she sent me lots of pictures of them during my trip. They seem to be really taking a liking to her. She took them on numerous walks and serenaded them with her guitar and singing. She left my house in impeccable condition when we got home. We will definitely be using her again.

My Home & Pet Care will leave you worry-free! • Fee adjustments per conversation. • Mileage fee adjustment after 15 mi @ current IRS rate, 2024 of .675 per mile. • TIPS: Optional, and Appreciated, this is a service job, with prices based on a US custom of tipping (20% for excellent service is very much appreciated).

I’ll provide you with photos while I’m with your pet. I will contact your vet and you if there is an emergency. We should discuss a release form in case I need to give consent, according to your instructions.
A typical day
I will ask how your pet is feeling and plan the days for plenty of play and good rubs, practicing skills and going outdoors to catch all the new smells, and provide soothing music or comforting “white noise” etc., as you wish.
