Pet care experience
I have always been a go-to person in my community for pet sitting. As a kid I would take care of neighbors cats or dogs and often house sit for them. Now, with my own dog, I know the importance of a person who is sensitive to a nervous escape-prone pup who needs to know they are loved and safe. I want to make sure that anyone who leaves their dog with me is as loved and comforted as if they were my own.

Sally is a loving caretaker for dogs! She has watched my shy/anxious dog and she loves Sally. Sally is extremely responsible, kind and responsive. Sally also takes great care of her fur baby, Blueberry. Blueberry is good with other dogs, too!

Our own pup is a very nervous escape-prone hound dog. She is gentle, quiet, great with all other dogs, but gets spooked at loud noises and loves to follow a good scent. As a result, we are very attentive when on walks. Additionally, we have a very well dog-proofed home and like to keep it clean of any possible harm for our own pup and any staying with us!

Living in the beautiful finger lakes offers tons of fun new routes and places to take your pup! Depending on what your dog enjoys and how adventurous they are, we can take a woodland adventure down the finger lakes trail, do some swimming in the lake, or simply enjoy a quiet stroll.

Availability
My wife and I are lucky enough to have fairly flexible work schedules. I am the librarian of our small town so I have the wonderful opportunity to set my own schedule. Generally I work during the day, but it is quite easy to work around the needs of a pup staying with us!
