We have had dogs and cats for the past 40 years, but sadly lost our last dog a few years ago. He was a rescue dog from Teckell's in Whitminster, where I used to volunteer. He chose me on a walk when he suddenly stopped, turned round, then put his front paws on my shoulders, looking straight into my eyes. It was a special moment! I was smitten and he soon settled into our home and became a really contented sweetheart. We now just have four chickens and about ninety goldfish in our pond, so have lots of free time to give to your much loved cat or dog. Our house is along a country lane so there are walks starting right from the house. Public footpaths through woods and fields start about 100 metres away. I am licenced with Stroud District Council for home boarding: licence number 21/00809/AWACT Whatever service you book, your dog, cat or small family pet will be well loved and get lots of cuddles and attention. Dogs will always have lots of fun on exciting walks with me, whether up the hill and through the woods, along the canal or along our country lane.
