Pet care experience
I have taken care of animals professionally for Rover in the past but stopped during the Covid crisis in order to care for Covid 19 patients. I have been an RN/NP for many years and am still licensed and in good standing, I work part-time but have decided to spend more time with my first love, animals. I have taken care of animals for friends and family and had many animals as a child, including parakeets, cats, dogs, lizards, fish, hamsters, mice, turtles, and rabbits. It is important to me that animals feel safe and comfortable with me. During April 2024 I will be fostering a cat from a rescue organization who needs rest and a respite from the stress of a rescue setting so that she can become well, gain weight, and undergo a procedure at the end of April. I am looking forward to meeting your cats and dogs again at the end of that time.

I can accept a crate if needed, and am an avid exerciser. Long walks are not an issue. There is a dog park near me, and I allow pets on the furniture for a nice nap.

A typical day
We have a wonderful walking path near our house, a dog park and the farmer's market on the East Side. Can also walk in areas by you. Car rides are good if approved by you.
