We are passionate about animals and love to have them around at all times. We have always had dogs and within the past 7 years have had cats. We have 7 lovable cats (yes, 7) currently. We now have a dog named Sydney, who is friendly to all. I (Sally) also volunteer with a local rescue called Colony Cats & Dogs where I do adoption events at local pet stores, and we sometimes will foster cats/kittens. My husband Chris is my partner in crime and helps with every aspect of taking care of animals. We have a good sized home with a fenced in back yard that we like to run around with the dogs in. We also have a 3 season room animals love to lounge around in. We are able to give any type of medicine including insulin shots. Both of our jobs are work-from-home. That means that we will be home all day/most of the day all week! During the work week, your dog won't be alone for more than 1-2 hours. Depending on what's going on for the weekend, it could be a maximum of 2-4 hours. We technically work opposite shifts, so this makes it perfect for drop-in requests for your dogs and cats. We can come to your house up to 3 times a day. We are very flexible when it comes to last minute bookings so please reach out to us. We hope that you will give us the ability to watch (and play) with your pup. Cats are also always welcome (and encouraged) as well as certain caged animals. Our kitties love the company. Since we both work from home during the week (and opposite shifts), someone is always going to be there to let the dogs out for potty breaks and to keep the dogs on their recommended feeding schedules. For smaller dogs they even sometimes get to sit in our laps while we work! Safety is always our number one priority. For us, for our cats, and for your animal(s). We try to choose pets that will work with our lifestyles as well as with the other pets we will be sitting. For example, we may not pair a senior dog with a super hyper puppy. When we go to client's homes, we make sure there house is taken care of and make sure that their pet is still living comfortably while their owner is away. I am a part-time real estate agent, so I understand the privilege it is to be in someone's home while they are not there and am also trusted to do so. We like to go to drop in visits together if we can as it is more attention the dog will get and while one person is prepping medicine or food, the other can be playing with the dog/cat(s).
