**About me** My husband and I are now retired. I volunteer one day a week outside the home. My husband also volunteers one day a week and has a home based accounting business. We both love pets and have been the humans to five dachshunds and several cats including two rescues. They have been an important part of our family. We prefer dogs that weigh no more than 30 lbs. and that are not tall enough to reach food on the table! 🙂 Height and size are more important than weight. **About my home/services** Your pet will be in our home located in a quiet neighborhood on a safe cul-de-sac. Our home has a fenced in backyard. Our services include overnight boarding, taking your pet for a walk or letting them romp in the backyard, and lots of cuddles. We also can pick up or drop off on request for an extra fee. **About my neighborhood** Our city park has dog runs and is a very safe place to go. Our street is a cul-de-sac so it is not a busy street and almost all of our neighbors have dogs, resulting in a place that is very social. **What to expect** Attention is given including petting and rewards for good behavior. We love to play with your dog like fetch and other fun games that dogs enjoy playing. **Special rules or requests** We would like to know what commands your pet understands. What is their feeding schedule including the amount of food and times? Also, we do not allow dogs in our bedroom or to sleep with us. This is the area that our cat hangs out in and our special snuggle time with our own animals so dogs must be crate trained. They will not be allowed to roam the house at night or when we are not home.
