Looking for some furry friends!
Pet care experience
I have decided to join Rover in the hope of making some new furry friends. I am a qualified nurse but currently taking some time out due to my dad’s deteriorating health. I have lots of free time and am pretty flexible. Rain and mud do not keep me indoors!! I often walk a lively cockerpoo, a sweet-natured labrador, a lovely westie cross and two nutty dachshunds! I sometimes do midday drop-ins for a couple of dachshunds and a gigantic great dane - he’s the biggest but soppiest boy ever! I sometimes look after a crazy little yorkiepoo in my home for up to a week at a time. I have experience of looking after a reactive dachshund, as well as a very timid small terrier cross. I have also looked after a beautiful cockerpoo overnight in his home. I own a 2-bedroom flat with a big communal garden just outside. I am very lucky to have beautiful countryside and great walks so close by. My mature and sensible seven year-old daughter will be joining me on walks but I will take full control and responsibility for the animals in my care. Your dog would be in very safe and loving hands with me 😃

Sally and Gracie are the best! They care for Boots and take him to exciting places, no matter the weather. They have dog sat at my house (they left it cleaner than I had) and they’ve had Boots in their house, each time no issues and they will send you lovely updates, we all love a picture of our dogs when we are away. They’re really flexible and truly love all animals. I highly recommend them and I’m a regular and will continue to be. Boots adores them too.
Sally and Gracie looked after my Shihtzu cross for the day when I had to visit family but couldn't take my fur baby. I had my doubts at first because my dog can be a bit growly around strangers but Ariel took to Sally and Gracie straight away. I think dogs can just sense if a person loves dogs and these two certainly do! I've since asked them to walk Ariel several times when I'm unable and she always comes back happy and contented. In fact, she doesn't want her lovely dog walker friends to leave!
Sally and her daughter are close friends of mine, and have been walking my 3 dogs regularly for over a year. I have two sausage dogs and a westie cross, they are both very caring and very much compassionate people and I really couldn’t ask for more. My dogs adore them, and are always pleased to see them. they have always been very reliable and I can clearly see their love and passion for dogs and I never have to worry as I know they are safe and in good hands. so Thankyou so much. X

A typical day
I am very active and love going for walks in both new and familiar places. I feel so lucky to be surrounded by countryside and enjoy both on and off lead walks. I am happy to play fetch, join in with a case of the zoomies or just take things slowly, whatever the pooch prefers! I love a good snuggle and understand the need for dogs to get adequate rest.
