Pet care experience
I am a student at The University of Alabama in Huntsville. I was raised around a variety of animals. I have watched/cared for many family and friends' dogs. I have over 13 years of experience caring for and training dogs. I have a two year old Great Dane, Piper, who loves hiking with me. I enjoy taking her everywhere I can. I have trained my personal dogs, family and friends's dogs, and locals. I'm familiar with teaching basic commands, and can also teach them better walking and house manners. I live in a very dog-avid family. I love sloppy dog kisses, big or small. I will give your dog my full attention, and I will make sure they are happy and well-cared for! Your dog will be cared for as if they were my own.

Sallie did a wonderful job taking care of my two pups. I know they had a great time. They are larger dogs and she was able to handle them with no issues.
Sallie was great! Couldn’t ask for a more professional dog sitter. She was always on time, and took great care of our dogs. Sallie sent pictures to us at every visit! We have an older dog that needs help getting up at times and she had no complaints and took extra special care of her. Our other dog is a very energetic dog and Sallie went out of her way to play with him and let him exert some energy. I would definitely recommend Sallie if you are looking for someone to not just let your dogs in and out but to take care of your pets as if they were her own!
We were Sallie's first official sit and we could not be happier. My dog, Gazardiel, is very iffy and wary with new people he has just met but went right to her upon meeting and was immediately comfortable with her. She kept in constant contact to let us know of any issues and concerns and kept us updated with pictures and a video or two. We had two pups that she watched for us and one managed an escape, but he was waiting for her when she arrived for her evening visit. She was able to corral him and we adjusted the plan. She spent around an hour with them to ensure they had plenty of outside time. She went above and beyond to make sure she took proper care of our two puppies. We will be booking Sallie again for our next trip and we highly recommend her.

I own a Great Dane, so I know how to handle larger breeds. I prefer non-reactive dogs, but I can work with them either way.
