Professional Dog Trainer & Sitter

Pet care experience

Our family is animal lovers of all sorts but dogs are my expertise. As I am a Certified Professional Dog Obedience instructor through Animal Behavior College since 2014. I’ve been training in and out of shelters working under non-profits since. My speciality is trauma rehabilitation in dogs. Meaning I have rehabilitated aggression, fear, and feral behaviors in many shelter pups and clients pets. All it takes is a lot of patience and understanding ♥️🐾 Over the last 4 years we’ve adopted 2 children and no longer can rehabilitate in our home. So now offering Boarding services. Your pets will be treated as our own as we pride ourselves on the compassion, love and care we give to all animals. My husband, Matt also helps with pick ups, drop offs and training🐾

Goose seemed to have a great time and came home so exhausted! He's still tired the day after. Thanks for accommodating us last minute and playing with our boy!

Salina was great with our dog, Brody. He’s a chocolate Labrador with tons of energy who came home happy and tired. We got lots of updates and photos along the way, giving us the peace of mind we’re all after when we leave our dog with someone. Thanks again :)

Your pets and your home would be treated as my own, but even better! When PetSitting in your home you can rest assured everything will be cared for properly. Dogs are walked, fed, played with and loved all in a routine manner throughout my visits. When your pet is boarding in my home it is more like a “doggy hotel” unless specified by owner. We do have crates if a dog is in training but with owners permission the dog has free roam of the house (rotated and separated throughout the If dog does not get along with other dogs). It is a must the dog gets along with children over the age of 5, and cats as I cannot separate them. There’s a fenced in yard for the dogs to sun bathe but dogs can also be taken on 2-4 walks a day ranging from 30minutes to an hour. You can rest assured your pet is on a vacation while you are as well!

Information Salina M. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if there is anything extra special your dog may need that I can account for. I always like to meet the pet prior so I’m not a stranger walking into the home, if possible. We do not require your dog to come to our home prior as I am a trainer and each dog is assessed for behavior before entering my home. Safety is my number one priority and will be discussed thoroughly with each owner prior to services.

A typical day

I love to stimulate your dogs physically and mentally. As a Trainer I like to follow my routine of “Excercise, discipline, affection” in that exact order. Meaning; Excercise first (walk, run, bike ride, I do it all at owners request and/or approval). Discipline second (sit for treats, lay for treats, stay and come for treats, hide and seek or fetch, games etc.) then… Last but NOT least…and my personal FAVORITE Affection (♥️Hugs, belly rubs, lots and lots of praise and treats) before we have to say goodbye or end our session. ***Senior dogs or any special request have an entire bedroom to themselves so that they can relax. And can excluded from any or all activities.
