In a client's home, I make sure to take note of any hazards that may harm any pups I'm taking care of. Additionally, I make sure to bring water with me on any walks and for those extra hot days, I always check the temp of the pavement. If its too hot and there aren't any protective booties for the pup to wear, I'll be sure to walk on grass only (or other surfaces that aren't affected by the heat). Furthermore, I always take note of your dog's body language to ensure that your pup is always comfortable and having fun!

Things I like to ask during a meet and greet with a client are the following: How often does your pet like to be walked? How many picture/video updates would you like per day? Does your pet have separation anxiety? What is your primary vet contact info? Etc etc.
A typical day
For fun playtimes, I love to take the dogs I watch to Land Park if they prefer to keep to themselves. Otherwise, I take the pups to Sierra 2 Dog Park where they can socialize and play with other dogs! For neighborhood walks, I prefer Land Park if its a particularly hot day so we don't have to worry about pavement ouchies. Otherwise, I love to take a stroll around the friendly Curtis Park neighborhood.

Availability
As a full-time student, my schedule requires me to commute to Davis for in-person classes. My classes can range from 5-6 hours, so please consider if your pet will be comfortable being left alone for 6 hrs in addition to the time it will take me to commute depending on your location.
