I have grown up with cats my whole life and, more recently, dogs. I have over 10 years of experience in taking care of cats for neighbors while they are on vacations, and I also have experience taking care of our family's dog now.

When taking care of other pets, I am sure to spend time with them and give them plenty of attention. As a cat owner, I understand that cats are social creatures and the food/litter box is not the only important aspect of cat sitting! I groom my own cats and I always make sure I can find the cat I am taking care of before I leave to make sure it is okay, even if it is very shy. For dogs, I love spending time with them, provide the same services as cats, and make sure there are enough potty breaks during the day. We can run around, play inside/outside, and cuddle as needed.

Before taking care of your dog, I want to know its personality and if there are any special medical conditions that it may have. Also, I'd like to know what kinds of activities your pet enjoys!
A typical day
I enjoy running around with dogs, going for long walks, and going to dog parks. I try to keep dogs active and help them get their energy out, especially when owners are not home for most of the day.

Availability
I will be working full time Monday through Friday, but can do drop in visits after 5pm, be a house sitter all days of the week, and am free all weekend! I am working at Carnegie Mellon University this summer, away from my pets, so I want to spend lots of time with cats and dogs to make up for their absence :)
