Pet care experience
Hi I'm Saire and I hope I can get to know you and your furry loved one! I have fostered dogs for over a year and took a break when I moved up to Fort Collins. I have experience with most larger breeds (doodle, lab, shepherds, pits, etc) but I am open to all! I am an avid runner and love taking my own dog on runs, I would be happy to take yours on one, too. I am a teacher so my schedule normal hours at work M-F are 7:00-4:00. However, my schedule clears up quite a bit from June-Mid August. Please reach out to chat!

I have an adorable 7 month old Aussie doodle and am a helicopter puppy mom. Even so, I feel 100% comfortable with Saire taking care of my dog. She cared for him for a week when he was less than 2 months old, and has cared for him a few other times as he has gotten older. She gives 1 on 1 attention, anticipates his needs, and is a firm but caring disciplinarian when he needs redirection. When I recommend Saire as a dog care provider, I do so without reservation. I plan to use her again when we need some extra help. She will be an excellent addition to your dog routine!

Saire loves animals and will take great care of your dog. She has had family dogs for most of her life and loves to be around them. Saire is conscientious, caring and hard working. She will be your dog's best friend when you cannot be there. Patti M
Saire has always been a lover of dogs and has watched ours, an energetic golden-doodle a number of times! She makes it look easy, always taking him on long walks or runs and giving snuggles. I would definitely recommend her services!

To give you an idea as to how I care for dogs I'll use my own dog, Dutch, as an example. Dutch is a one year old mutt who is FULL of energy. Due to this, I play fetch with him in my yard before leaving for work, immediately upon returning from work we go on a walk or run (1-3.5 miles), then he gets brain games until it is clear he's tired. I do have a partner who shares in caring for Dutch so watching your pup just means my partner will be filling in when I'm gone :)

I have quite a bit experience with "behavior" dogs. I fostered a dog for 6 months who was really challenging. With the help of a trainer, I was able to turn this dog's behavior around. Due to this, I have experience with more difficult behaviors but would prefer to know beforehand so I can be prepared with treats & extra love to give. Apart from eye drops and easily administered oral medication, I am unfamiliar with providing other medical needs. I am more than willing to learn from you, though! Please let me know absolutely anything you think is important for me to know about your pet.
A typical day
As stated, I would love taking your dog on walks or runs if they're able. If they like fetch or tug-o-war, I would happily play with them. If they're social, we could have a play date with my dog to get energy our for both of them! I am happy to accommodate to whatever activities you typically provide for your pup.

I teach in Greeley (commute from Fort Collins). My typical hours Monday - Friday are 7:00-4:00 including commute. I am pretty available on weekends though!
