Since childhood, my family loved rescuing helpless animals on the streets of Dakar, Senegal. We always had an animal in need within our care. I’ve always been very sensitive to the needs of animals - I know how to administer medication, signs to look out for when animals are in distress, and how to engage with an animal to make sure they feel safe and secure. I cared for my disabled cat, who was blind and deaf, for a total of 7 years, meaning that I can take care of pets even when they’re sick.
