I am appending my original review of Saige M. because I have since found out that she is an irresponsible, lying, scammer. Saige M. should not be watching anyone's pets. Do not hire her, because she won't show up, but she will tell you that she did. I hired Saige on two occasions. For the first job, Saige was supposed to be walking my dogs once per day for 10 days. She showed up twice in 10 days. I had thought that she was coming regularly because she sent me some pictures of the dogs and messaged me the first couple of days, so I relaxed and stopped monitoring her on the ADT activity. I did not think that the dog sitter would need a babysitter. I did not know that Saige only showed up twice in 10 days during my vacation in May until I hired Saige for a second job, 3 weeks ago. The second time I hired Saige, I asked her to come once a day in the mornings to let the dogs out. She came once in 4 days. She lied to me each day when I checked in with her. I text her each morning and asked how the dogs were and if the dogs had any accidents and she replied no accidents, they were doing great. I found out she was lying when my neighbor showed up and told me the dogs had pooped and peed all over the kitchen and dining room. When I asked Saige what happened, she continued to lie and told me there were no accidents in the house when she was here. She promised me that she had been here to let them out. I checked my ADT videos and activity alerts and saw that she never showed up after the first day. When I told Saige this she then said her son was in the hospital. Even if this were true, which it most likely was not, why wouldn't a responsible person tell the pet owner this, so that back up help could be obtained? Because Saige did not do her job and come to let the dogs out in the mornings, from the time my neighbor let them out at night and showed up again the next day and the day after, the dogs had gone 18 hours, TWO DAYS IN A ROW, without being let out and without food. Once I found out that Saige most definitely lied and did not show up for the weekend I was gong in July, I went back and checked my ADT videos and alerts from the May vacation and saw that past the first couple days, she never returned. The lack of responsibility, lying, and brazen, self-righteous attitude is all documented in the Rover pet card and text communication, but apparently Saige is unfazed by this. I do not know how anyone with a conscious can abuse dogs in this way. Leaving innocent animals for 18 hours without being let out or being fed is abusive and causes trama for the animals AND the owner. Rover was really great and refunded my money, however, Saige still has a profile on here, and she most definitely should not.
