Hello Bay Area! I have recently moved here with my dog PJ and I am looking to provide boarding and day care services to the furry residents of California. I am a former protection dog trainer and long time Rover sitter. I always exercise extreme caution with dogs to ensure they are safe and happy. I make sure all dogs are provided the appropriate exercise for their age, breed, and activity level. My dog PJ has been well socialized and has never shown aggression towards another dog. He is very good at reading another dog's energy and play style, as well as giving them space when needed. Leash pullers, XL/strong dogs are welcome. My dog is very large, so I am very used to dealing with very powerful leash pulling. We generally go on 2-4 walks a day with lots of play time in between. I make sure all dogs are tired by the end of the day to ensure they are not anxious when staying in a new home. I always feed dogs separately (to prevent resource guarding) and will always monitor them when eating. All dog play is closely monitored by me to make sure no dog is uncomfortable. BOARDING CLIENTS PLEASE READ My boarding availability is very limited due to my apartment being a studio. I can only accept boarding if your dog is crate trained. I do not leave a dog alone with my dogs in the same room. If your dog needs to be boarded for 2 days, they do not need to be crate trained as I can be home full time for 2 whole days at the most. I make sure all health conditions, medications, and behavioral needs are attended to when caring for other dogs. I am comfortable with dogs that have behavior issues and I am willing to work through them. For boarding and day care, I can only accept dogs that are friendly with other dogs because they will have to interact with my dog PJ.
