Pet care experience
I’ve been around many kinds of animals my whole life and love learning about their unique personalities and quirks. A couple years ago my family got a St Bernard puppy and have had to learn the best ways to train and walk him. We knew that he could easily overpower us when he’s full grown so we had to especially learn how to teach him not to pull on a leash. Since then I have also started pet sitting for friends and family in the area, and always look forward to getting to spend time with their pets. My schedule is very flexible and I am open to working with any kind of dog (or kitty).

Sage stayed with our 2 dogs and cats for a week. Everything was great when we returned and they seemed very happy. We appreciated everything she did to help our fur babies have a great week while we were away. I could rest easy because I knew they were in good hands!
Sage was incredible! Traveling back across the country to see family for Thanksgiving and leaving our 3-legged Rottie for the first time was creating anxiety for us. Thanks to Sage, we were able to rest assured that Dante was taken care of and attended to. Will definitely recommend Sage to anyone! As long as it does not conflict with dates we need her for ;)
Sage did a great job caring for our pets. Our dogs and cats get very nervous and stressed out when we leave, but they seemed so relaxed and happy when we returned. Sage stayed at our house and everything was kept tidy and neat.
The dogs seemed so calm and happy when we got back from our trip. And there were no messes to clean up! This is exactly what we were hoping for. Thank you, Sage!

I think respecting people’s spaces is very important and I always try my best to keep things tidy and leave things how I found. I believe that dogs should be walked at least once a day plus some outdoor playtime, but I'm happy to discuss what is best for your pet.

I like to know if your dog has any leash troubles (if they try to chase animals or people) so I can be safe and attentive on walks. I also like to know if they can be around other dog in case we run into any outside.
A typical day
I like to let them smell around on walks but I also try to keep them under control and manageable. I will play with them if you have a yard to get their zoomies out.

I am currently taking a gap year from school, so my schedule is very open and flexible. I can stay overnight at your home or stop in through the day depending on your dog’s schedule.
