Pet care experience
I (29) offer a relaxed, child free home where I live with my partner (Steve, 30) and mum. We have a large garden and are located next to Sutton Park where Steve and I love to walk and run. I grew up with a Border Terrier and regularly dog sit my wider family's dogs, as I find so much joy being around them! I work at home as an Environmental Advisor, having studied for my degree in biology and masters in environmental consultancy, as I’ve always had an interest in animals and the environment. Steve is a Chartered Accountant, who also works from home and will be joining me on walks - so there will be double the amount of company for your dog!

I cannot emphasise enough how happy we were with the care Saffron took of our dog Bailey. Bailey is a rescue dog and can be a bit of a handful but he enjoyed his time with Saffron which was evident when we picked him up. Those who are looking for a dog sitter I guarantee Saffron is more than adequate and we will be using her again.
Yet again saffron is AMAZING! Saffron and her partner were much loved by Sam. He was very comfortable with them and was spoilt with lots of walks and cuddles. We had multiple updates throughout the day with photographs, which really helped. We couldn’t have chosen anyone better to look after my uncles dog as we had no concerns in the slightest to leave Sam with them. We will for sure be booking again and couldn’t recommend them enough! Saffron was amazing with our nervous/reactive dog, he settled straight away with her and was really well looked after. We had lots of pictures and updates during his stay and could tell he was having a lovely time playing and getting lots of cuddles. Could not recommend her more.
Saffron is AMAZING! Would highly recommend. Very good at communicating and fast replying when discussing Sams stay. We agreed on a trial night for Sam before his week with them and he’s enjoyed himself so much. He’s been very lucky with the multiple long walks and had definitely been very well looked after. Looks like he can’t wait to go back! Saffron was fab with giving me updates and pictures throughout the stay, which really put me and my family at ease. He was definitely in safe hands with her and her partner (who he seemed to really love!) We are so very grateful!! Thankyou! Thankyou! Thankyou! :)

I have a large fenced mature garden, with a patio and two lawn areas, so plenty of space for your dog to run around and lots of smells to sniff! Dogs would have the run of the house, so they could choose to snuggle up on the sofa in the choice of two lounges or find themselves a quiet space in a bedroom.

Let me know if your dog has any special requirements or notable behaviours. My preference is well behaved dogs but I do have experience walking reactive dogs.
A typical day
A typical day for me would be getting up at 7am to do a work out and starting work at 8.30am. I have a lunch break for an hour which I typically spend going for a walk around the park. I finish work at 5pm, which is when I’d either go for a run or walk before settling down for the evening. I’d love to have some doggy company on my walks and would swap my morning work out for a dog walk if required. I think it is important to stimulate dogs mentally and physically. Dogs would be mentally exercised through games in the house and garden. I’d happily take dogs running with me if they can keep up! The house has plenty of comfy spaces available for dogs to relax in.

Availability
I would be available for dog walking or house calls around lunchtime and evenings during the week, with more flexibility at the weekend. For dogs staying at the house, I’d typically plan to go on a walk at lunchtime and after I finish work at 5pm, but can do a walk before I start work at 8.30am if that fits with their usual schedule.
