Pet care experience
I have loved animals ever since I can remember. Some of my favorite childhood memories consist of running around playing with the animals on my grandpa’s farm. It is no surprise that once i got older I insisted on having a pet of my own. Besides taking care of my own pup for about 8 years, I have been a Rover sitter/walker for about 6 years now! During that time I have experienced dogs of all shapes, sizes and personalities. I’m a pretty active person so I really enjoy playing with them and taking them out for walks/jogs. I briefly worked at an animal hospital/pet resort so I am comfortable handling dogs and have experience with some health issues and medications. I also have a little experience in potty training and teaching simple tricks. I currently work Mon-Fri 9-5, but I’m free most evenings/weekends. I live in Lake View close to a handful of parks and fun walking areas :) There are no pets in my apartment. Sadie was fantastic! She responded promptly to messages and helped us set up a meet and greet, which was such a great way to get to know her as a sitter. Our dog immediately warmed up to her and even waited at the door after she left. Her photo updates made us smile and showed us that Zeus was having a great time on his walks. We would definitely use Sadie again and we highly recommend her!
Sadie was awesome! Loved the pictures and constant updates. My Otis was well taken care of and I did not have to worry while at work.
Due to Covid I hadn't travelled or left my dog with a sitter for 9 months, so I was really nervous leaving for three nights. But right away Sadie was sending me pictures and updates, which really helped me relax and enjoy my trip. She communicated really well the whole time and sent me great pictures of my dog. My hyper dog was even sleeping in some photos, so I knew she was getting enough exercise and attention to be so relaxed. My place was left immaculately clean and my dog was happy and healthy when I got home. I would definitely hire Sadie again, thanks!
We had Sadie stay at our home for a whole week and received great communication and tons of pictures. She cared about our dogs as if they were her own! Our house looked the same as we left it. Would 100% recommend!!
