With a lifetime of experience caring for animals with a wide spectrum of needs, it would be my sincerest pleasure to care for your furry love when you're in need of assistance. I have experience with cats, horses, small critters, and dogs of all sizes (I had a 130lb Great Pyrenees of my own for 9 years!), and have lots of experience with senior dog and puppy care. My home is in the Pearl District in Portland, and at this time I do not have a back yard, so please keep that in mind when booking. With that being the case, I am best suited at this time for walks, drop-in visits your home, and am happy to accommodate well house-trained dogs and cats in my home who wouldn't mind lounging around while we're not out taking walks. I live close to several parks and dog parks, and am close to Forest Park. On sunny weekends we tend to spend a lot of time outside - hikes, camping, playing at the river. If you're booking for a weekend during the spring or summer, please let me know your comfort level in your dog participating in such things with us so that we can adjust accordingly. I have experience and am comfortable with administering medications, both oral and injectable, to dogs and cats. I'm truly looking forward to meeting you and your furry loved ones!

We are so glad to have found Sadie in NW Portland. As a special needs dog mom, having reliable care is invaluable. Sadie welcomed Bennett without any reservations of his gait issues. He fit right in with the rest of the fellow paw fwends! Within hours he was asleep on Sadie’s leg.
Sadie took really great care of Enzo and was flexible on our pickup time due to an unforeseen flight delay. Would love to have Enzo stay with Sadie again!
Sadie was the best!!! Went above and beyond to make sure our animal children had the bed weekend away from mom and dad.

Your sweet furry loves will be very safe with me. Boarding: I will be home with your pet and available for potty breaks (and snuggles!) through their entire stay with me. I'm happy to accommodate whatever walking, potty, and meal schedule they're used to. We've got lots of comfy places to lounge, a clean dog bed to cozy up on, toys to play with, and limitless love to offer during their stay. Drop-In Visits and Dog Walks: During drop-in or walking visits, I'll attentively adhere to the schedule and routine that your pet is used to. House/Pet Sitting: During stays in your home while you're gone, my process would be similar to that which I've described above. My ultimate goal is to keep your pet as cozy and un-jarred as possible. Sticking to whatever schedule is laid out for me, I'll hang around to make sure that your pets are getting as much love and attention as they deserve during my stay, and I'll leave everything tidy and ready for you when you return home.

A typical day
I really enjoy taking long walks with pups and playing stimulating games with them. We'll go to the dog park if that's their thing, or play puzzles at home if we're not lounging getting our snuggle on. For cats, I keep a scratch pad and catnip toys available and love a good snuggle while reading a book.

I've found myself in a position for the first time in my entire life where I don't have pets of my own at home to care for! Caring for my own pets has been an integral part of my routine for truly my whole life. I am a stay-at-home homemaker and part-time online student, so I am extremely flexible for drop-ins, walks, and boarding in my home.
