Pet care experience
I've grown up with all sorts of animals, but I am not able to have one myself, so I petsit for others. I have been pet sitting and house sitting for friends, family, and coworkers for over 7 years, which ranged from 1 pet to 9 dogs all at once. This built my experience and reliability not only to take care of the pet(s) but also allows me to make sure the house is taken care of too. Most dogs adopt me as part of their pack, which helps create a lasting relationship for future care. They say pets are man's best friend, but I become theirs.

I am familiar with walking animals with any level of leash training, as well as monitoring and engaging in outdoor play in any type of backyard. I also try to maintain a regular routine for the pet, which may include specific walk/play times or crating, per the instruction of the owner. This helps to reduce stress and anxiety for the pet and helps to mitigate behavior changes that may occur.

I love to keep the dogs engaged and entertained. This could be by taking them on interesting walks, or creating a game with their favorite toys. I also love to practice any tricks or skills the dogs may have in a way that is fun and stimulating.

I am currently working a hybrid desk job in Whitefish, which grants plenty of flexibility to check on the pets during the day. I live in Kalispell, so travel between towns is part of my everyday routine, which can very easily incorporate care for pets during the day and night.
