I've always grown up with dogs.. I was the child always bringing home stray animals and crying till my parents gave in and let us keep them. When I left for college, I realized how lonely life is when you're hours away from your family. I decided I needed a companion, specifically one with 4 legs, fur, and has lots of love to offer. I started looking at local shelters and ads on Craigslist, etc. I came across a lady who had an accidental litter and was going to take the puppies to the shelter if she couldn't find homes immediately. I met with her the day after and that's when I found Miley. I have always loved dogs but it was different now that I was raising one without the help of my parents. I never knew how strong of a bond you form with them when you're puppy training and they are growing with you. She's been the light of my world since. I recently moved in with my boyfriend and we decided to add a second fur baby to the family when we came across another rescue puppy. My sister found a box of puppies on the side of the highway and of course couldn't keep them all. Initially, we were just going to foster him till we were able to find him a home. It didn't take long though for him to steal our hearts and now he is forever a part of the family. After raising my two babies, I now understand what people mean when they say "my dogs are not just dogs, they are family!" It's beyond true! I know how important they become to their owners and will always give your doggy the most love and attention possible in 30 minutes! More about me: I'm 21 years old. EMT and CPR certified. Going to school to get my RN. I live with my boyfriend who just got out of the Air Force. We recently moved to Fort Worth (Bedford) about 4 months ago and absolutely love it! He loves animals just as much as I do. If we aren't at home we are at Bedford dog park. That's where we spend most of our time. Hope to meet you and your fur baby soon! God bless!
