Pet care experience
From a young age, I have always enjoyed being with animals. I am someone who finds her peace in nature and with animals. I have had cats my whole life, practiced horse riding, and only recently, thanks to Rover, started taking care of dogs. Over time, I have gained considerable experience with various dog breeds, from puppies and small breeds to larger breeds and seniors. Through this experience with different breeds, I have learned to adapt to the ways and needs of your dog. If a dog enjoys being active and social, I make sure to find a outside area that fulfills these needs. I also have experience with dogs that are not social and need to be walked with stricter control.

Really wonderful. Always on time and flexible, friendly and my dog of course loves her. She also sends the best pictures after his walks, nice compositions and videos. He’s much calmer and overall happier after a nice long walk with her. Can’t recommend her enough if you want someone who genuinely understands and cares for dogs.

Sacha heeft 4 dagen voor onze 2 katten gezorgd. Dat heeft ze echt met super veel zorg en aandacht gedaan. We kregen elke dag een berichtje met foto’s en je merkt gewoon dat ze ervaring heeft met katten. Verder is ze ook nog enorm betrouwbaar en denkt ze met je mee. Wanneer het weer nodig is, vragen we Sacha weer!

For every booking, I like to get to know the pet owners and the animals, especially when it comes to pet sitting, to see if we get along and also to understand what I can expect. During this meeting, it's helpful for me to discuss the walking and feeding schedules, as well as any special needs or characteristics the dog/cat may have, so I can take them into account and have a clear understanding. This way, there will be no misunderstandings.
A typical day
I love to take long walks; this can be in a park or in the forest, depending on what is available nearby. If the dog is social, it's very enjoyable to go to a dog field so the dog can have fun with other dogs. I also have experience with dogs that cannot socialize with other dogs for various reasons. I have lived in Amsterdam my whole life, so I know the right places to take the dog(s) for a comfortable walk.

During the week, I am studying, but I often have time in between (please check the calendar for availability). During vacations (summer, autumn, winter, and May holidays) in the North Holland area, I am usually consistently available.
