Animal lover, through and through. They’re a member of the family! I’ve had my own dog for over 10 years, and have also fostered, dog sat for friends/family, and volunteered at the Animal Welfare League of Arlington (AWLA). We’ve added to our fur family, so I am accustomed to walking 2-4 dogs at a time (I walk our dogs and my mom’s two dogs). Through my volunteer position at the AWLA and working with dog trainers, I learned about dog behavior/psychology, best practices for dog walking/socializing and how to work with dogs of all different sizes and personalities. If you have a dog with special behavioral or physical needs, I’m your walker! Most importantly, I’m dependable and flexible. I will always arrive on time, give the best walk I can, and make sure you get cute photos of your baby while you’re out so you know they’re in good hands. After having a few standout feline clients, I decided that I couldn’t live without kitties of my own! In 2020, we adopted kitten siblings, Ruby and Opal, and in 2021, a little buff boy stole my heart. They’re wild and mischievous... life with cats is entertaining! I love a super clean box and will make sure yours stay the same. My cats are the pickiest of eaters with an unnecessarily complicated feeding routine, so I understand if yours is too :) I look forward to walking with you! House sitting policy: my house sitting rate is for overnight stays and longer visits. For the overnight stays, this typically means a 12 hour stay, a dinner, an evening walk, breakfast and a morning walk. I’m more than happy to bring in packages, check your mailbox and water plants as well. If you will be out of town for more than a night, please book additional walks for mid-day. Overall animal wellness is very important to me, and I do not believe that dogs can only be relieved in the morning and the evening. Depending on your proximity to my home, we can discuss a quick pee break mid-day for overnight stay clients. I am not willing to risk an animal’s safety and wellness; I pride myself on my timeliness, part of which is driven by the desire to avoid accident cleanup.
