I’m Sabrina and I love dogs! A pup’s perception of time is so fascinating to me. Whether you’re gone for ten minutes or an entire afternoon, they are just as excited to see you––as if you’ve been gone an entire lifetime. I honestly live for that feeling, that unconditional love and pure joy when it becomes a jumble of a million licks and wagging tails like overactive windshield wipers. Dogs are the purest form of love because they are open to everyone; humans are usually responsible when dogs distrust people. They don’t judge you by the way you look or how much money you have in the bank––if you are a jolly and easygoing person with a good heart and maybe a bacon treat in your pocket, they are happy to meet you. Or at least this has been my personal and professional experience. I’m originally from San Diego and I had many years of dog care experience and expertise there––I even ran a small animal rescue from my tiny apartment. I worked for one of the top dog daycares in the country for many years and worked as a part-time groomer too. I’m trained in emergency first aid and CPR for dogs of all ages and sizes. I keep an emergency first-aid kit for humans and animals at all times and it’s not because my husband is an EMT. I value a dog’s life as much as a human life––no question. I’ve always been a dog owner, but it wasn’t until the time I left my beloved dog with a so-called friend and came home to a trashed house, my dog under fed and gravely abused. I don't want any dog owner to ever have to encounter what I did. I truly want to offer you peace of mind. There won’t be any shred of doubt––your pup will receive the absolute care with a million cuddles. Besides dogs, I’m a huge horse lover––they’ve also been a big part of my life. I’ve been a professional horse trainer for over 11 years and I’m currently working on a ranch in Flower Mound. By the time I was 8, I was running my own dog walking service. I’ve always been a compassionate, detail-oriented, and responsible person. My parents used to joke that I was the most adult in our whole family. I’ve been working with and alongside horses and dogs my entire life, I really feel like I can communicate with them. This will be particularly helpful if your dog requires any medication––I’ve been thoroughly trained to help them feel at ease. Your dog’s safety and well-being are of the utmost priority while in my care. When I’m around our wonderful, four-legged friends, I feel whole and completely content. It’d be an honor to take care of your pup, and if your dog is open to other animals, they can definitely come with me to the ranch!
